We recognized that the scope and content of knowledge that is relevant to the objective for the betterment of the real human welfare are much more diversified and wider than what the present education system provide. Peace and harmony in our ultra-modern society has been collapsed due to the failure of our prevailing education system in providing opportunities for understanding the role of 'values' in moulding moral character, spirituality, self-consciousness and regardfulness.
We therefore recognized that there is an urgent need for setting up of an institute which will take up the task of preserving on fostering the age-old system of Vedic Culture, a philosophy of life which focused on peace, mutual social harmony. global understanding and also of propagation of the profound scientific knowledge system contained in the vast Vedic literatures.
We have stood with the aim of development of the women, children and other marginalized groups in the fields of health, education, livelihood generation. capacity building etc

The motto of our organization is "Asato Maa Sadgamaya: Tamaso Maa Natirgamaya: Mrityor-Maa Amritam Gamaya: Translated from Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.3.28), it means "(O Lord) Keep me not in the Unreality (of the bondage of the Phenomenal world), but lead me towards the Reality (of the Eternal Self); keep me not in the Darkness (of Ignorance): but lead me towards the Light (of self-knowledge); keep me not in the (fear of) Death (owing to the bondage of the Mortal World), but lead me towards the Immortality (gained through the knowledge of eternal Soul)".
To follow the ancient principles of the Veda and propagate the purpose of life is the evolution of man's limited individual consciousness into pure, unending. universal, blissful consciousness by sincerely following a scientific spiritual way of life.
To realize through the knowledge of Vedanta (the philosophical and the conclusion or end portion of the Veda) that soul is imminent in all beings and man's true self is that he is not a perishable physical body made of matter, but an eternal soul called "Atman" which is a source of our all energies and bliss.
Due to our ignorance, we identify ourselves with our physical bodies and mind and run after transient sensual pleasure which is the main cause of our morality. evil and miseries in life. But following a virtuous life-style and cultivating Bhagavat Yoga, the process of which is revealed in the Srimat Bhagavat Gita abstructly, our ignorance which is the main cause of our grief and weakness would be removed and all our latent inherited potentials would be actualized also: because we are not only mere perishable human bodies, we are immortal soul full of peace and bliss

To develop our organization into a center of excellence in extensive scientific research on the Vedas and the post Vedic ancient literatures including the six Darshanas (six systems of philosophy) and a center of excellence in global awakening of blissful Self Consciousness of individuals to bring in a new era of unrivalled peace, happiness and prosperity for all by disseminating the wealth of the Vedic knowledge all over the world.
IVWRC is dedicated to explore the technical details of the Vedic Science focusing on taking alternative science to the next level for providing the mother Earth with a nonhazardous and pollution free environment and to resolve all the looming ecological threat created by the failure of modern-day science in controlling the environmental degradation.

IVWRC is an organization for the community that works to shape our moral character, values, system, standard, principles, practice of meditation, yoga, pranayama etc.
To resolve to end the continuous succession of poverty, illiteracy, all types of violence and offensiveness through education, consciousness, the scientific knowledge system contained in Vedic literatures and also through taking initiative in enkindling the fire of the knowledge of soul (Atmagyan) that could be achieved by cultivating Bhagavat Yoga as referred in the Srimat Bhagavat Gita. As we experience the glooming fire of the knowledge of eternal soul, it will consume all evil that haunt and oppress us, all sense of unworthiness, guilt, pain and conflict. Our life will naturally become more and more uniform, harmonious and happy.
IVWRC aims for integrated rural development using multi-sectoral approaches to help the rural people especially dalits, tribes, marine fisher-folk and other marginalized section of the community who are powerless, voiceless and exploited.
To improve socio economic status for the community especially of poor women and children through empowerment, enlightment and improvement of hygiene and nutrition also.
To develop Human Resources in the arena of skill development through different trainings on social and economic aspects among youths.
To work in the field of community based sustainable livelihood to generate the alternative employment to fight against poverty and unemployment
